When innovation, AI, and smart glasses work together to boost performance

In June 2025, Orange tested a new working method using connected glasses that integrate augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

The goal is to improve the efficiency, safety, and autonomy of technicians in the field. This initiative is part of AMA XpertEye's vision, which aims to use artificial intelligence and augmented reality to support teams in the field.

The XpertEye platform enables technicians, engineers, and caregivers to respond more quickly and accurately thanks to Visio collaboration, AI-based automated reports, and the Merlin AI agent.

Connected glasses offer an undeniable advantage: they free technicians' hands while providing immediate access to information. In emergencies or complex interventions, this translates into operational time savings, fewer errors, and better traceability thanks to automatic reports.

For Abdelatif El Fatimy, a network technician at Orange, these tools reinforce human work rather than replace it. Many AMA customers share this view: technology becomes a discreet ally in the field, not a constraint.

Whether you're a telecommunications technician, maintenance worker, or healthcare professional, the needs are similar: access real-time expertise, easily document interventions, and capitalize on collective knowledge. XpertEye V10 meets these needs by offering a platform that combines real-time collaboration, artificial intelligence, and connected mobility.

AMA and its partners, such as Orange, are redefining the standards of field work by offering an augmented, connected, and intelligent approach.
