The health ecosystem gathered in May at SANTEXPO to share ideas and competencies and strengthen cooperation across borders.
The Innovation trophies addressed this year the theme "Healthcare, a new frontier for Europe". To highlight the innovation in the healthcare sector, SANTEXPO awarded the latest innovations, focused on the cooperation and co-development of health professionals and patients.
It included two categories:

Co-development for the benefit of health professionals: This category rewards an innovation built in conjunction with a healthcare facility/structure to improve the working conditions of healthcare professionals.
AMA’s XpertEye knowledge-sharing platform was awarded the first prize at SANTEXPO 2022 in this category. In collaboration with BOPA AP-HP, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris, the XpertEye Assisted Reality solution is being used in the operating room for telesurgery. The smart glasses-based solution precisely shows the point of view of the surgeon, providing a better environment for live exchanges between surgeons and medical technical engineers. The solution creates endless possibilities for telehealth and remote training.

Co-development for the benefit of patients: This category rewards an innovation built in conjunction with a healthcare facility/structure to improve patient care and the patient journey.
COGIS Networks has won first place in the category of co-development for the benefit of patients. Their solutions are designed to facilitate the reception and care of patients in health care facilities. COZII, the indoor guidance solution awarded at the SantExpo 2022 Innovation Awards, allows patients to find their way easily throughout their day in the hospital to fluidify and transform the patient and caregiver experience. The latter can visualize the position of all patients in real-time to optimize patient flows in the outpatient department.
